Hades 2: Weapons and Aspects List

Weapons in Hades II are called Nocturnal Arms, and each weapon has multiple Aspects that completely change how it plays. Some focus on faster Omega attacks, others turn weapons into burst-damage monsters, while hidden Aspects introduce entirely new mechanics.

As of the current version of the game, there are six main weapons with four Aspects each, including hidden variants. Choosing the right combination can dramatically change your run style.

1. Witch’s Staff (Descura)

The Witch’s Staff is the starting weapon and one of the most balanced options in the game. It combines safe ranged pressure with fast Omega abilities, making it beginner-friendly while still scaling well into harder runs.

Available Aspects:

  • Aspect of Melinoë

  • Aspect of Circe

  • Aspect of Momus

  • Aspect of Anubis (Hidden Aspect)

The Aspect of Circe is especially popular because it creates a Psychic Leash effect tied to your Casts and familiar interactions. Many players consider it one of the strongest Cast-focused builds in the game.

2. Sister Blades (Lim and Oros)

The Sister Blades focus on speed, mobility, and aggressive melee combat. They reward fast reactions and close-range pressure.

Available Aspects:

  • Aspect of Melinoë

  • Aspect of Pan

  • Aspect of Artemis

  • Aspect of Morrigan (Hidden Aspect)

The Aspect of Artemis adds powerful parry-style gameplay, while Morrigan introduces the Blood Triad mechanic for huge burst damage. Community discussions often rank the blades among the most fun weapons in the game.

3. Umbral Flames (Ygnium)

Umbral Flames are unique ranged weapons that fire magical projectiles while emphasizing spacing and delayed damage.

Available Aspects:

  • Aspect of Melinoë

  • Aspect of Moros

  • Aspect of Eos

  • Aspect of Supay (Hidden Aspect)

The Aspect of Moros is widely discussed because of its explosive delayed-hit playstyle, although some players find the weapon harder to master compared to more straightforward options.

4. Moonstone Axe (Zorephet)

The Moonstone Axe is the heavy weapon option, built around slow but devastating hits.

Available Aspects:

  • Aspect of Melinoë

  • Aspect of Charon

  • Aspect of Thanatos

  • Aspect of Nergal (Hidden Aspect)

The Aspect of Charon is particularly strong for Cast synergy builds and high-damage setups. Meanwhile, the hidden Aspect of Nergal introduces Berserk mechanics after enough successful strikes.

5. Argent Skull (Revaal)

The Argent Skull works differently from every other weapon because it uses ammo-style skull projectiles that must be retrieved.

Available Aspects:

  • Aspect of Melinoë

  • Aspect of Medea

  • Aspect of Persephone

  • Aspect of Hel (Hidden Aspect)

The Aspect of Medea is highly popular because it enables explosive close-range combos. Persephone is also considered one of the safest high-level Aspects due to its invulnerability potential and strong Boon scaling.

6. Black Coat (Xinth)

The Black Coat is one of the newest and flashiest weapons, functioning almost like a magical exosuit with punches, dashes, and ranged attacks.

Available Aspects:

  • Aspect of Melinoë

  • Aspect of Selene

  • Aspect of Nyx

  • Aspect of Shiva (Hidden Aspect)

This weapon emphasizes mobility and aggressive close-range combat while mixing in projectile pressure. Many players enjoy it because it feels extremely different from traditional Hades weapons.

7. How to Unlock Hidden Aspects

Hidden Aspects require several steps before they become available.

Generally, you must:

  • Unlock all normal Aspects for a weapon

  • Upgrade one Aspect to Rank V

  • Speak to a specific NPC associated with that weapon

  • Learn the Waking Phrase

  • Activate the Aspect at the weapon altar

Each weapon has its own associated character tied to the unlock process.

Because Hidden Aspects drastically change gameplay, many players treat them as the true endgame progression system for weapons.

Different Aspects also scale differently depending on your Boons, Arcana setup, and preferred combat style, which is why tier lists vary so much between players and patches.

FAQs

1. What is the best mouse for my grip style?

It depends on the model. For example, our ER21PRO is optimized for ergonomic right-handed claw and palm grips, while the Leviathan V4 features a symmetrical shape suitable for all grips users. You can refer more details here - Shopping Guide.

2. Is there any noticeable latency with wireless?

No. Using 2.4GHz "HyperSpeed" technology and the Nordic chips, our wireless latency is negligible, matching or beating wired performance.

3. What is the difference between 1K and 8K polling?

A 1K polling rate reports position every 1ms. Our 8K technology reports every 0.125ms, providing significantly smoother tracking and lower input delay on high-refresh-rate monitors.

4. What is the "perfect" DPI for FPS?

Most pros use 400, 800, or 1600 DPI. However, our sensors like the PAW3395/PAW3950 support up to 26K-30K DPI to ensure pixel-perfect accuracy regardless of your preference.

5. Do RAWM mice use Optical or Mechanical switches?

We offer both. Models like the ES21PRO, ER21PRO and Leviathan V4 use Optical Switches for near-instant registration and zero double-clicking, while others use tactile Huanuo/Kailh/TTC Mechanical Switches.

6. What is the battery life at 8K?

8K polling is power-intensive. While we offer "long-lasting" performance, using the 8K Receiver will drain the battery faster than 1K. We recommend 8K for competitive sessions and 1K for casual use.

7. Can I customize buttons and DPI?

Yes. All RAWM gaming mice are compatible with the RAWM HUB software for full button remapping, DPI and macro setup.

8. How do I fix double-clicking?

By using our models with Optical Switch, you virtually eliminate the physical wear that causes double-clicking. For mechanical models, debounce time can be adjusted in our software.

9. Is Lift-Off Distance LOD adjustable?

Yes. Professional sensors like the PAW3395 and PAW3950 allow you to set the LOD typically between 1.0mm and 2.0mm via the RAWM HUB .

10. Is there USB-C Fast Charging? flexible?

Yes, our mice utilize a standard USB-C port for Fast Charging , ensuring you spend less time tethered and more time playing. We provide high-quality Dedicated USB-C Cables that are lightweight and flexible to minimize drag if you need to play while charging.

11. What hand size is best?

We cater to all. The SH01 series is excellent for small/medium hands, while the MH01/ES21/ER21/Leviathan V4 series fit medium/large hands comfortably.

12. Does it have onboard memory?

Yes. Once configured in our RAWM HUB software, your DPI and button settings are saved directly to the mouse hardware.

13. Is Bluetooth supported?

Our "Tri-mode" models(SH01/MH01 series) support 2.4GHz, Wired, and Bluetooth, allowing you to switch between a gaming PC and a laptop easily.
